WEAR A PIECE OF HISTORY!
This wide-band antique Egyptian faience-glazed stone ring is a spectacular demonstration of artistry & craftsmanship. Hand-carved and fired, this ring displays exquisitely designed hieroglyphics on the band and a geometric bezel.
Whether installed as an art collection piece, looped onto a necklace as a pendant, or worn as originally intended, this antique Egyptian ring will make heads turn.
This piece was made by local Egyptians for affluent visitors who traveled to Egypt on educational "Grand Tours" of various archaeologically significant sites between 1780-1920s; a time also known as the "Egyptian Revival Period."
This Egyptian ring is attested to as authentic and to have been made in Egypt during the “Grand Tour/Egyptian Revival” era by Mr Matthew Wicks of Ancient Hands, Ltd, and is accompanied by a digitally signed PDF copy of its "Provenance & Ownership" documentation.
